Reporting a Claim, What happens next?
Upon receiving this request, one of our Accident Consultants will contact you to establish all the facts surrounding the accident. We also need to ensure that we can justify the need of a replacement vehicle. Please have all the details to hand as we need to complete a claim pack.
Please Note:
- You will be required to provide certain documentation to satisfy our underwriting procedures and conform to the Data Protection Act. Without these documents we are unable to provide a replacement vehicle.
- Once we have completed the claim pack and established liability, we will arrange your replacement vehicle for collection or delivery within 4 hours nationally. We appreciate the urgency in being mobile again and therefore aim to provide a speedy service without any hassle or aggravation. Deliveries can be arranged around the clock to suit your needs.
- We will contact the Third Party Insurer and instruct them to appoint an engineer. The engineer will arrange to carry out a full inspection to your damaged vehicle. A report will be sent to the third party insurer for their consideration.
- When liability is confirmed, they will instruct their approved bodyshop to carry out repairs immediately or full settlement on cases where the vehicle is beyond economical repair. At this point our vehicle will be returned to us and a full invoice will be sent to the third party insurer for the hire charges.
